Luxury lifestyle events firm in Texas is looking for individuals with experience producing glamourous experiences for discriminating clientele. Be part of a team that produces galas, weddings, and private parties in unique locations utilizing one of the largest collections in the US of event product, on-site florist, and crack installation teams!
Responsible for making group decisions on outside sales, operations and future prospects of the company. Working closely with the event coordinators to assist with the planning and managing of social, fundraising, and customer events, as well as press Inquiries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Delegates and assigns new clients to event coordinators in a timely manner.
Oversees the company calendar of events. Produces and negotiates contracts and maintains relationships with clients and preferred vendors.
  • Develops, prioritizes, and implements assigned events, some of which will include balls, weddings, galas, and corporate accounts.
  • Responsible for overseeing the planning and orchestrating of events from beginning to end, working closely with event coordinators.
  • Acts as mentor for event coordinators.
  • Works with COO and Operations Manager to create and update an inventory price list.
  • Compiles event cost estimates with event coordinator and submits to COO for approval, tracks budget statistics, prepares event file, and produces management reports under the direct supervision of the COO.
  • Completes necessary documentation including contracts, deposits, and correspondence.
Reviews with the Warehouse Manager;
  • staging, staffing, transportation, delivery, setup, arrangements, and breakdown of props, decor, and supplies for each event.
Determines appropriate responses to problems and emergencies.
Provides project status updates and acts as liaison between the client and the accounting department in retrieving appropriate payments on a timely basis.
Reviews materials and information presented by client and discusses various production factors to determine most desirable presentation concept.
Reviews and approves art and copy materials developed by staff, as well as, conceptualizes new and creative ideas and produces final concept.
Reviews with the Operations Manager and warehouse staff handling, construction, transport, and breakdown of specific props and staging for specific events.
Provides project status updates and acts as liaison between the client and the Company.
  • College degree preferred with a minimum of four years of directly related work experience
  • Able to work long hours including nights, weekends & overnights
  • Must have own vehicle
  • Ability to multi-task and prepare for several events simultaneously
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Able to communicate (verbally and in writing) in a professional manner
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Anticipates issues and is able to resolve them quickly
  • Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude with all assignments
