High-end interior architecture and design firm is looking for an experience Interior Designer - Project Manager to join their team. The firm's clients range in design preferences and age, with projects nationwide and across the Bay Area and the Napa Valley.

This position manages multiple projects simultaneously with minimal day-to-day supervision. This position interfaces with project teams and the firm’s senior designers and principal. The right candidate will be involved in all aspects of design, including decoration and ground-up construction, including custom furniture design. The right person for this job takes initiative and contributes significantly and visibly to every aspect of the design process, from concept to installation, and must enjoy thinking on their feet, taking responsibility for their work and investing in their careers.

  • You must have the following qualifications to be successful in this role:
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with a high-end interior design or architectural firm
  • Exceptional AutoCAD skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Experience leading at least one design project, including interfacing with architects/contractors, space planning, drafting interior architecture specifications, preparing schedules, etc. (not just decorating)
  • Experience managing projects with specified budgets and timelines
  • Outstanding technical knowledge of design genres, history and antiques
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate in writing without spelling or homonym errors
  • A valid driver's license and access to a car to visit job sites
  • Live within commuting distance to the office
