Luxury lifestyle events firm in Texas is looking for individuals with experience producing glamourous experiences for discriminating clientele. Be part of a team that produces galas, weddings, and private parties in unique locations utilizing one of the largest collections in the US of event product, on-site florist, and crack installation teams!
 
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the physical facilities Including the warehouse and corporate offices.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 
Works with COO in making decisions on the status of employees and operating procedures.
 
Oversees office staff, warehouse staff, inventory, business operations, and facilities operations.
 
Conducts inventory assessments, forecasts employment and logistical needs, maintains security system and verifies time tracking. Must have experience with inventory management and new system implementation.
 
Inspects warehouse facilities and equipment and recommends changes in allocation of space, storing procedures, and all health & safety issues to COO, warehouse supervisors and staff.
 
Assists and produces necessary special projects (large budget proposal development, future expansion, marketing, telecommunications, etc.)
 
Works with the rental and costing agent to deliver necessary information and works with event coordinators to assist with preparation of final invoice within two business days after the completion of an event.
 
Offers daily updates of the event calendar on responsibilities dealing with each event.
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • College degree preferred with a minimum of four years of directly related work experience
  • Able to work long hours including nights, weekends & overnights
  • Must have own vehicle
  • Ability to multi-task and prepare for several events simultaneously
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Able to communicate (verbally and in writing) in a professional manner
  • Physical dexterity with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Anticipates issues and is able to resolve them quickly
  • Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude with all assignments
