Trend-driven, high-end, residential interior design firm seeks dynamic, detailed-oriented, residential interior designer with senior-level experience (5-years plus), to join their tight-knit team to produce outstanding work for their fabulous clients and projects.


Senior Interior Designer Responsibilities:

  • Manage concurrent projects (up to 8 simultaneously)
  • Maintain a balanced workflow and meet deadlines
  • Liaise and collaborate with architects, lighting designers, audio/video contractors, developers, builders, general contractors, sub-contractors, vendors and fabricators
  • Create compelling interiors of the highest quality from concept to installation
  • Manage budgets and schedules
  • Select and manage all FF&E: Architectural materials, furnishings, fabrics, lighting, art and accessories
  • Layout plumbing and lighting
  • Source custom millwork and tile designs for kitchens, closets, bathrooms, etc.
  • Produce interior architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections and details
  • Present clearly design concepts to clients using PowerPoint, AutoCAD and/or Excel
  • Produce detailed ordering documents
  • Produce clear and detailed finish schedules
  • Track any project ordering variances
  • Attend all project installations to ensure designs are executed exactly to the client’s satisfaction
  • Follow up with client on any issues or additions after each project installation
  • Communicate daily with Principal Designer

Skill Requirements:

  • Conceptual/schematic design
  • Hand drafting/sketching
  • AutoCAD 2015 and later
  • Revit, Sketchup, and 3-D rendering preferred
  • Studio Webware/Studio Designer knowledge preferred
  • PC platform
  • Discovery and programming
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with high net worth clients

Educational and Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in interior design or architecture from an accredited program
  • minimum of 3+ years of interior design experience
